The Follow-Up queue

How the Follow-Up page groups claims that need attention, and which groups need action from your team.

Written by Nanda Guntupalli

The Follow-Up page shows claims Taiga is actively reviewing, plus any issues flagged for your team to weigh in on. Claims are organized into groups, and each group reflects the next action required.

The Follow-Up page

Reading the groups

Each group shows how many claims it contains, the total claim balance tied up in it, and — most importantly — who the ball is with:

  • Taiga review — claims our team is working; nothing needed from you.

  • Clinic action — claims waiting on something from your team.

Typical groups include:

  • Billing review — claims Taiga is actively reviewing that aren't assigned to a specific work queue.

  • Contracting validation errors — claims that don't pass the validations of configured contracts.

  • Pre-submission orphaned claims — claims sitting in a pre-submission status (coded, waiting for provider, biller received, or missing required data).

  • Coding validation errors — claims that don't pass coding validations.

Click a group to see the claims inside it, and click through to any claim for full detail. The Activity column shows recent movement so you can tell which groups are being actively worked.

What to do here

Check the Clinic action column. If it's zero everywhere, there's nothing for your team to do — Taiga is on it. When a group shows clinic actions, open it to see what's needed (usually missing information or a decision only your practice can make). Resolving those unblocks the claims for submission or resubmission.
