The Claims page lists every claim Taiga has touched. This article is a reference for carving that list down to exactly the claims you want to see — and taking the result with you as a spreadsheet. For a walkthrough of the page itself, start with Tracking your claims.
Search
The search box matches patient name, claim ID, member ID, or date of birth. It works together with the filters — search for a name, then narrow by status or payer.
Filters
Primary Payer Name — one or more payers, as they appear on the claim.
Status — any claim status; see Understanding claim statuses for what each means.
Tags — tags Taiga's ops team has applied to claims.
Service Date — a custom range, or a preset: last 7, 30, or 90 days, this month, this quarter, or year to date.
Owner — who the next move belongs to: Needs your attention (your team), Taiga working on it, or No action needed.
Billable status — billable claims versus visits that were intentionally written off (Not billable).
Responsible party — insurance pay, self pay, or unknown.
Sort — newest or oldest by created date or by service date.
+ Add opens advanced filters for exact-match lookups, useful when reconciling against another system: encounter external ID, patient external ID, work queue ID, and diagnoses updated since a timestamp.
Filters live in the page's address bar, so a filtered view can be bookmarked or pasted to a teammate and they'll see the same slice.
Columns
Columns controls which fields show in the table; click a column header to sort by it. The money columns follow a claim's arithmetic from charge to resolution:
Billed — what was charged to the payer.
Allowed — what the payer's adjudication allows for the claim.
Insurance Balance — what insurance still owes.
Patient Resp. — the portion adjudication assigned to the patient.
Patient Paid — what the patient has paid so far.
Total Paid — everything collected from all sources (off by default; turn it on from the Columns menu).
Claim Balance — what's still outstanding from anyone.
Responsibility — who owes the remaining balance next.
Exporting
Export (top-right) downloads the current filtered view — filter first, then export. Choose CSV or Excel. The file includes each claim's ID, service date, patient and external ID, status, owner of next action, payer, member ID, billing provider and NPI, the money fields, the next responsible party, and the procedure and diagnosis codes on the claim — enough to reconcile against your EHR or hand to an accountant without any manual lookup.
A few money headers are named differently in the file than in the table: Charged is the table's Billed, Paid is Total Paid, and Outstanding is Claim Balance.
